Hi! I'm Megan

I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who helps exhausted and stressed mamas recover their energy and overcome other debilitating chronic symptoms. I empower you to practice true self care without guilt. I’m a single mom of four spectacular kids and a lover of my Catholic faith, real food, and GOOD music! I still love the music I grew up on (I guess it all fits into Classic Rock now).

I *might* be caught blasting Stevie Nicks, The Cure, The Cranberries, etc. and singing along (badly) while driving, cleaning, or cooking. I’m obsessed with the color blue – it reminds me of the sky and the beach and makes me so happy.

My Story

Although my eating habits growing up set the stage, the crashing blows to my health came from a severely stressful marriage. Since I have discovered what stress, whether emotional, physical, or even from the food we eat, does to our body, I have been on a journey to heal so that I can be all that I want to for my kids, and create a life I LOVE!

Before this discovery, I could not understand why I was so exhausted all the time, but totally wired at night. Why I could not lose weight, even when trying. Why I couldn’t muster up the energy to keep firm boundaries. Why I felt exhausted and burned out even though I loved being a stay at home mom. I felt so guilty! I was also experiencing acid reflux, constipation, anxiety attacks, and horrible periods. I started getting migraines from eating certain foods, or from even a whiff of any type of perfume/fragrance.

Amazingly, when I started eating real food and cutting toxins out of my household, my head began to clear a little. I began to recognize that toxic people cause just as much damage as toxins in our food and products. I learned the art of self care, and eventually that brought me into the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

I spent hours researching and trying every supplement and remedy out there. Finally, in 2014 I had my first Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. It changed my life, and that’s not an exaggeration. It was a turning point in my healing, and it also led to me becoming a NTP and then becoming trained to interpret these tests.

Now, I gain so much joy and fulfillment from helping other women start their own journey to new beginnings.  Not everyone has the same story as I do, but isn’t that the beauty of it? We walk together on a path to wholeness and health, even though our starting points may look different. Usually, the stops along the way – exhaustion, insomnia, digestive troubles, hormone and mood issues, stubborn extra weight, and taking care of others while failing to take care of ourselves – are similar. Often, uncovering hidden infections or heavy metals are the KEY!

Since I started my practice in 2016, I have envisioned helping other women who have experienced stress and trauma from narcissists in their lives and women who are so burnt out and exhausted that daily duties and activities are a challenge. For so long I felt hopeless and powerless to heal my body.

I want to empower every woman to take responsibility for her own health, and the health of her family. I want to show every single woman who feels this way that there IS hope for healing. That doctors who don’t take them seriously or trust that they know their own body are the problem – not them. And there are other ways. I also excel in mindset coaching and teaching how to simplify things to make them doable and not quite so overwhelming. THIS is why I say I am a thriving hot mess. I do not have all my ducks in a row, I am not perfectly organized. I am not perfect at all. So if I can heal, you can too!
